Cliff Hsia, Founder of Shakas Group, Realtor
Cliff Hsia grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii in the middle of Chinatown. Surrounded by homelessness and suffering, Cliff deeply understands the value of owning one’s home and how homeownership can change the trajectory of a family’s wealth and health. He developed his sharp business sense, savvy negotiation skills, and strong internal fortitude over many childhood days spent in his Grandma’s crack seed and porcelain store in Chinatown. The Aloha Spirit is a part of who Cliff is and what he strives to embody in each relationship he has through his meticulous care, clear and open communication, and unmatched work ethic.
Over the last 20 years, through a wide array of world travel and professional experiences with many industry-leading companies and organizations, Cliff has refined his skills to become a valuable leader, communicator, and partner. He has experienced firsthand the benefits of owning real estate, whether it’s for value appreciation, upside, leverage, or cash flow. Cliff has been buying, selling, and investing in real estate in California for his family and clients for over 15 years in both Northern and Southern California. For his buyers, he has negotiated deals for significant discounts, and for his sellers, he has closed deals for record-breaking prices.
Cliff attended ‘Iolani School in Hawaii, earned a B.A. in International Economics at UCLA, and lived and worked in Tokyo, Beijing, Hangzhou, and the Bay Area. Cliff is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. He resides with his wife and daughters in Orange County, California.
